Participatory Conservation Programme-II is a joint undertaking of the Government of Nepal and UNDP. It aims to build on the successes and achievements of the Parks and People Programme (PPP, 1995-2001), and Participatory Conservation Programme - I (PCP – I, May 2002-April 2004), to consolidate their best practices and lessons learned from them.

The program is being implemented in Chitwan National Park, Bardia National Park, Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Parsa Wildlife Reserve, Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, Khaptad National Park and Rara National Park.
