• Developed a comprehensive audio-visual package on the Buffer Zone programme (in Nepali and English) and disseminated them to a wide range of audience.
  •  Prepared and disseminated posters, brochures, newsletters etc.
  • Used electronic and print media to disseminate information about the programme both at the central and field levels.
  • Prepared updated fact sheets at regular intervals for dissemination.
  • Celebrated special events related to the environment and biodiversity conservation at both the central and field levels.
  • Formed eco and green clubs at the field level.
Impacts of Conservation Education and Outreach
  • Level of conservation awareness has increased and a strong “green” cadre to work for conservation and development has been instituted.
  • The upcoming generation has been groomed to become ambassadors for biodiversity conservation through the formation of eco/green clubs at the school level.
  • Information on Nepal's rich biodiversity has been disseminated to a wide range of audience – national as well as international – with the aim of arousing interest among other conservation partners.
